I am currently completing a Surgical Technology program that combines classroom instruction, laboratory practice, simulation, and clinical experience. My education has prepared me to maintain a sterile field, identify and organize surgical instruments, anticipate the needs of the surgical team, and follow infection-prevention and patient-safety standards. Through my training, I have strengthened my communication, teamwork, organization, and ability to remain calm in fast-paced surgical environments.
